Veterans Memorial Intermediate originally opened as Moorhead Junior High in 2001, and is located in the Caney Creek High School feeder zone in Conroe, Texas. The school was rededicated as Veterans Memorial Intermediate in 2023.
The school was named to honor all United State military veterans, who served and fought to protect our freedom. At the entrance of the school, there is a large mural (pictured at left) comprised of photos of active military and veterans with connections across Conroe ISD.
